Cookie Policy
Last updated: December 2, 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how InvoiceBro uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies. In short, InvoiceBro is built to avoid tracking. We use on-device storage to make the app work, not to follow you around the web.
Browser storage we rely on
Rather than tracking cookies, the core app uses storage mechanisms that stay on your device:
- LocalStorage keeps lightweight preferences such as your selected theme (light or dark) and your favorite templates so the interface remembers your choices.
- IndexedDB holds your saved documents, clients, and business profile on your device. This is what lets you reopen a draft after closing the tab.
These are not transmitted to us. They exist purely so the application can function and remember your work between visits on the same browser.
Strictly necessary vs optional
The storage described above is essential to using the generators and cannot be turned off without breaking core functionality, because it is how your documents persist locally. It does not profile you or share data with advertisers.
Analytics
The marketing site may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to measure general traffic. Any such measurement is limited to the website and never captures the contents of documents created in the generators. This deployment uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Managing storage
You can clear InvoiceBro's on-device storage at any time using the Clear local data control on the Dashboard, or by clearing site data through your browser settings. Doing so will remove your saved documents and preferences, so export a backup first if needed.
