Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InvoiceBro (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and the invoice generation tools provided on it. The short version: the documents you create with InvoiceBro stay on your device. We do not receive, store, or transmit your invoice or client contents.

The core principle: nothing is uploaded

InvoiceBro is a browser-based application. When you create an invoice, estimate, quote, receipt, or any other document, all data entry, calculation, preview rendering, and PDF generation happen locally in your web browser. There is no backend server that receives your document contents, and there are no external invoice, accounting, payment, tax-rate, or AI APIs involved in producing your documents.

What is stored, and where

To make the app useful across page reloads, InvoiceBro stores certain information on your own device only:

• Preferences — such as your theme choice and favorite templates — are stored in your browser's LocalStorage.
• Documents, clients, business profile, and drafts are stored in IndexedDB, an on-device database built into your browser.
• An uploaded logo, if you add one, is read locally as image data and embedded into your document. It is not transmitted anywhere.

All of this data lives on the specific browser and device you used. It is not synced to us or to any third party. If you clear it (see below) or clear your browser data, it is gone.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect the contents of your invoices, your client list, your business details, or your revenue. We have no copy of them because they never leave your device. We do not require an account, so we do not hold a name, email, or password for you.

Website analytics

The public website may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand general traffic patterns (such as which pages are visited). Any such analytics are limited to the marketing site and never include the contents of documents you create in the generators. This deployment includes no third-party advertising trackers.

Clearing your data

You are always in control. Open the Dashboard and use the Clear local data button to permanently remove your saved documents, clients, business profile, and preferences from the current browser. Because the data only ever existed on your device, this action cannot be undone — export a backup first if you may need it.

Children's privacy

InvoiceBro is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Because the privacy-first architecture is fundamental to the product, any change will continue to reflect the principle that your document data stays local.
